A made-to-order church ciborium with lid for holding and distributing Communion hosts during the Eucharist. Available in silver-plated or brass finishes, with a traditional covered design suited to Catholic, Anglican and other liturgical churches. Manufactured in South Africa.

A ciborium is a sacred liturgical vessel used to hold and distribute Communion hosts during the Eucharist and, in traditions where the Blessed Sacrament is reserved, to hold consecrated hosts securely after Communion. Its covered bowl and cross-topped lid distinguish it from an open chalice and make it an important part of traditional church altar ware.

This made-to-order ciborium is designed for churches, parishes and ministries looking for durable, reverent Communion ware for regular worship. It is available in silver-plated or brass finishes, giving churches a choice that can coordinate with existing chalices, patens and other altar vessels.

The wider bowl provides practical capacity for Communion hosts, while the fitted lid helps keep the contents covered before and after distribution. The traditional form is especially appropriate for Catholic, Anglican and other Christian communities that use formal Eucharistic vessels as part of their liturgy.

Made in South Africa and manufactured to order, this church ciborium is suitable for new sanctuaries, replacement altar ware, church renovations or completing an existing Communion set. Please allow approximately 3-4 weeks for manufacture and delivery.

Ideal for churches searching for a ciborium with lid, silver-plated ciborium, brass ciborium, Communion host vessel, Eucharistic vessel or traditional church altar ware in South Africa
