Equipped For Battle Anointing Oil is used in prayer for deliverance, spiritual strength and victory over opposition. Colossians 1:13. Deliverance is often the theme of our lives as we face struggles and opposition. We cry out to God for freedom from bondage, infirmities, debt and oppression. Turn to God. He is our ultimate Deliverer.

In Luke 4:18–19, Jesus proclaimed: “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me… He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives… to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”

Only in Jesus can we be set free, for He is the Truth (John 14:6; John 8:32).

Jesus died and rose again so that the power of sin and death cannot hold you back (Colossians 1:13). He desires to see you free from the things that bind you. God has already placed within you the power to walk in victory through His Holy Spirit and the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
