“The Hebrew root word for Cassia is qadad which means to strip off or bow the body or head in deference and submission. Commercially, Cassia bark is stripped off the shrub and then ground into a fine powder.
Prophetically we see here that Jesus was willing to be stripped of His deity and yielded Himself to the point of death for our sins. Likewise we are to humble ourselves to the perfect will of the Father. Cassia is one of the main ingredients in the Oil of Joy and the Holy Anointing Oil.
