Covenant Anointing Oil

• At the last Supper, Jesus gave thanks & proclaimed that a new covenant was to be established. For this is My blood of the new covenant , which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Mt 26:28. This new agreement God made with mankind, based on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Jer 31:31-34).

This promised action suggested a new level of obedience, a new knowledge of the Lord, and a new forgiveness of sin. Jesus is “the Mediator of the new covenant” (Heb 9:15; 12:24) a “better covenant…established on better promises” (Heb 8:6), and rests directly on the sacrificial work of Christ. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel …

I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Heb 8:10
