500 Wafer

Wafers are thin cakes, somewhat like tortillas made of wheat flour (semolina), baked unleavened and spread with oil.

They are also known as Communion Bread which symbolizes the Body of Christ on Christian belief.

The bread used for communion signifies the body of Jesus, which was broken for us. He took on all sin, iniquity, rebellion, disease, grief and shame.

1 Corinthians 11:26 – For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. Matthew 26:26-28 – Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
