Communion cups are small individual cups used to hold a portion of wine or grape juice, symbolizing the blood of Christ during the Lord’s Supper or Communion service.

The cup represents the Blood shed by our Lord. It speaks to us of eternal salvation, of redemption through His precious Blood. We frequently hear the ordinance referred to as the Lord’s Supper, or the Lord’s Table.

The most common types of disposable plastic cups type are made from PET, or polyethylene terephthalate, as PET cups are durable and long-lasting. HDPE, or high-density polyethylene, is also often used to produce plastic cups as this material can be recycled more easily than PET cups.
